YEGAP joins 10th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival in Kuala Lumpur
The CACCI-YEGAP delegation, led by CACCI President Peter McMullin AM and YEGAP Chair Hiromi Aoki, took part in the 10th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival (AYEC) held on October 15–16, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. The visit reinforced collaboration between CACCI and ASEAN young entrepreneur organizations and helped expand YEGAP’s presence in regional initiatives that support innovation and inclusive economic growth. In addition to attending the Carnival, the delegation held a meeting with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) to discuss strengthened cooperation and participation in future CACCI programs.
As part of the engagement, YEGAP convened its Executive Committee Meeting and hosted the YEGAP Party / Good Business Gathering, bringing together around 100 members, partners, and AYEC delegates. The networking dinner provided a platform for new connections and introduced the Good Business Network to a wider audience. YEGAP members were also featured prominently in the Carnival’s program, with Chair Hiromi Aoki and members Charmaine Cobankiat and Kimsuor Lay speaking in a session on fostering innovation and cross-border collaboration among young entrepreneurs.

Day 2 of the Carnival included the Women’s Morning Programme, where YEGAP Vice Chair Ekaterina Ueda spoke in a panel on female leadership and resilience. The event concluded with a Gala Night recognizing ASEAN’s Top 10 Young Entrepreneurs. YEGAP’s active participation highlighted its growing role as a regional platform for young entrepreneurs within the CACCI network and its continued support for entrepreneurship, innovation, and integration across the Asia-Pacific region.
