Introduction
The Singapore gathering focused on the theme “Making Asia Pacific Business Future-Ready”. It was designed to provide delegates a platform to exchange views on measures that the business sector and governments in the region can undertake to address the challenges and take full advantage of the current opportunities offered not just by markets in the Asia-Pacific region but by countries in other parts of the world as well, thereby enabling them to grow and expand beyond the domestic borders and into the global market.
Day One of the Conference featured Plenary Sectoral Sessions focusing on SME development, food and agriculture, ICT, tourism, entrepreneurship, water and energy, and textiles. Another session was devoted to the Asia-Pacific Green Alliance as a new initiative for sustainability.
Day Two featured three Plenary Session addressing topics of current interest to the business community, namely: (a) Sustainable and Resilient Business in Asia-Pacific; (b) The New Business Forntier: The Age of AI; and (c) Future of Trade: Digitalization, E-Commerce and Cross-Border Collaboration.
Additionally, a special sharing session highlighted the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, and a presentation previewed the 14th World Chambers Congress to be held in September 2025 in Melbourne, Australia.
