YEGAP Holds Final Executive Committee Meeting of 2025
The final YEGAP Executive Committee Meeting of 2025 was held on December 3, 2025, overseen by YEGAP Chairman Hiromi Aoki, to review the year’s key achievements and set priorities for the year ahead.
Members reflected on a productive year marked by YEGAP’s participation in major international forums, including the World Chambers Congress in Melbourne and the Japan–ASEAN Business Leader Summit, as well as strengthened collaboration with ASEAN partners. The discussion highlighted the growing role of youth leaders in advancing regional cooperation and connectivity.
Looking ahead, the EC identified several key priorities:
- Participation in the 45th Japan YEG Grand National Convention in February, featuring MOU signings, cultural exchanges, and corporate visits
- Coordination of regional events in 2026, including activities in Japan, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, and the Philippines
- Early preparations for the 40th CACCI Conference in Manila in 2026
The meeting also emphasized the importance of broadening YEGAP’s reach by increasing participation from underrepresented countries. Members committed to mobilizing greater engagement from Taiwan, Myanmar, and Mongolia, including support for the formation of new entrepreneur groups.
In addition, the EC agreed to strengthen YEGAP’s visibility through a more structured social media and content strategy, building on the recently developed YEGAP introduction video to support outreach across multiple platforms.
The meeting concluded with reflections on the progress made in 2025 and a shared commitment to carrying this momentum into 2026 through closer collaboration and stronger regional networks, guided by YEGAP’s vision of “One Asia, One Family.”
The next YEGAP EC Meeting is scheduled for February 28, 2026 in Tokyo.
