CACCI President Peter McMullin AM visited Vietnam from 18-22 August 2026 where he attended the Annual Entrepreneurship Conference. During his stay, he had the opportunity to be generously hosted by YEGAP Executive Vice Chair John Tran. He also held a range of meetings, including with representatives of the Australian Government.

Vietnam is one of the region’s rapidly growing economies and President McMullin experienced the vibrancy, ambition and optimism of Vietnamese entrepreneurs on full display as they grasp the opportunities emerging from this growth with both hands.

President McMullin AM was equally encouraged to see the engagement of Australia and other countries in Vietnam’s development. He persistenly promotes stronger economic relationships, trade and entrepreneurship as engines of prosperity. In this way, he argues, it is possible to build relationships, understanding and interdependence that contribute to greater stability and peace across our region.
