Mr. Anjan Shrestha has been elected President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) following the Federation's elections held on May 5, 2026.

A prominent figure in Nepal's business community, Mr. Shrestha brings more than three decades of experience in business leadership, entrepreneurship, and private sector advocacy. Throughout his career, he has played an active role in advancing Nepal's industrial and commercial development while promoting policies that strengthen the country's business environment.

Mr. Shrestha has had a long association with FNCCI, serving in various leadership positions including Executive Committee Member, Chair of the Industry Committee, Vice President, and Senior Vice President before assuming the presidency. His appointment reflects his extensive experience in institutional leadership and engagement with Nepal's private sector.

In addition to his work with FNCCI, Mr. Shrestha is the Executive Director of the Laxmi Group, one of Nepal's leading diversified business conglomerates, with interests across manufacturing, trading, hospitality, and services. He has also served in leadership roles in several business associations and public institutions, contributing to entrepreneurship, industrial development, and economic policy in Nepal.
