CACCI Members are invited to join CACCI President Mr. Peter McMullin AM on a Presidential Visit to Singapore, hosted by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), a CACCI Primary Member, on July 29 2026.

The visit aims to strengthen CACCI’s engagement in the region by providing participants with first-hand insights into Singapore’s business environment, fostering dialogue with key government and private sector leaders, and enhancing collaboration with leading industry stakeholders. The program also includes courtesy engagements with senior officials and meetings with prominent business leaders across priority sectors.

The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) has prepared a tentative program for July 29 to facilitate these engagements.

The Singapore Manufacturing Federation has prepared the following activities for this day.

Tentative Program

10:00-12:00 Visit to SMF headquarter and meeting with SMF President Lennon Tan, SMF Council and general SMF members related to the interest of the CACCI delegates:

Afternoon (2 options)

14:30-17:00 Meetings with Senior Officials of Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) (www.mse.gov.sg) and relevant government agencies - e.g., National Environment Agency (www.nea.gov.sg) which oversees Singapore environment and climate change, and Singapore Food Agency (www.sfa.gov.sg) which oversees Singapore’s food safety, food security and food resilience under MSE.

14:30-17:00 Site visits to the following Centres of Interest:

• Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTECH) which focuses on leading innovation in Biomedical, Semiconductors, Aerospace, FMCG and Energy. SIMTECH also houses the Model of Innovation Factory. (https://www.a-star.edu.sg/simtech)
• Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) which is a contemporary platform built upon strong public-private partnerships to translate research into industry applications and is a partnership between the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore). ARTC bridges technological gaps in the adoption of advanced manufacturing and remanufacturing processes (https://www.a-star.edu.sg/artc).

In addition to the Presidential Visit, members may also participate in related regional events.

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and the Young Business Leaders Network (YBLN), a business network under SBF comprising young entrepreneurs, next-generation business owners, and corporate leaders dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and positive societal impact through business, are organising the ASEANext Forum on 29-30 July 2026.
