JCCI Officer Visits CACCI Secretariat – Mr. Yasuyuki Yamamoto, Project General Manager at the International Division of both The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and The Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), on September 16 visited the CACCI Secretariat headquarters in Taipei and met with CACCI Director-General Dr. Darson Chiu and Deputy Director-General Mr. Amador Honrado Jr.  Mr. Yamamoto, who joined JCCI only in April 2026, was in Taipei to meet with the Chamber’s Taiwanese associates.

During his CACCI visit, Mr. Yamamoto expressed JCCI’s appreciation for the continued strong support and cooperation extended by CACCI to the Chamber’s activities and for its efforts in promoting cooperation of JCCI with CACCI member chambers.

He also took the opportunity to reiterate JCCI’s nomination of Ms. Yuki Takahashi, Special Advisor of JCCI, as the Chamber’s nominee for CACCI Vice President for the 2027-2028 term, noting that Ms. Takahashi is the first woman Vice Chair of TCCI, and the first woman nominee of JCCI for the CACCI Vice Chairmanship position. He also assured the participation of Ms. Takahashi, along with other JCCI representatives, in the upcoming 40^th CACCI Conference on 4-5 November 2026 in Manila.

For their part, Dr. Chiu and Mr. Honrado briefly introduced CACCI and its activities to Mr. Yamamoto, mentioning in particular those in which JCCI had active participation. They also gave him a rundown of the CACCI Conference Program in Manila, citing the events where JCCI’s participation is requested. They also explored with him the possibility of JCCI hosting another CACCI Conference in the near future, noting that the last time a CACCI annual gathering of its members was held in Japan was in 2009, when JCCI and Yokohama CCI hosted the 23^rd CACCI Conference in Yokohama.
