The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) would like to invite you and your colleagues to join an upcoming webinar on "Türkiye’s Economy - Banking Outlook & COP31 Vision" to be held on Thursday, 13 August 2026 at 14:00 Singapore Time.
The 60-minute webinar is being organized by the Asian Bankers Association (ABA), one of the Product and Service Councils of CACCI, in association with the Banks Association of Türkiye.
Introduction
Türkiye’s strategic position at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Middle East makes developments in its economy and banking sector highly relevant to financial institutions, investors and businesses across the Asia-Pacific region. Amid geopolitical uncertainty, shifting trade patterns and evolving monetary conditions, understanding Türkiye’s economic direction is increasingly important.
This session will provide timely insights into Türkiye’s current economic environment, recent policy developments and banking-sector outlook. The speakers will also examine how Türkiye is responding to developments in its surrounding region and the implications for growth, financial stability, investment and international business.
The webinar will additionally present Türkiye’s vision and preparations for COP31, to be held in Antalya from 9 to 20 November 2026. It will explore the country’s preparations for this major global event, including expectations regarding sustainable finance, climate policy and the transition toward a lower-carbon economy.
