A YEGAP delegation headed by Chairman Hiromi Aoki visited Phnom Penh from April 2 to 5, 2026, in support of the 2026 National Convention of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC), an MoU partner of YEGAP.

​The delegation also included Vice Chairs Ekaterina Ueda and Aries Balanay, Executive Committee Member Yasuaki Nanba, and Secretariat members Abby Moreno and Teresa Liu.

The visit began with a Welcome Cruise hosted by YEAC along the Mekong River, bringing together international delegates and local members for networking and fellowship.

During the visit, the delegation attended the YEAC National Convention Gala Dinner held at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh. A highlight of the evening was the formal introduction of Oknha Sar Kinal as the new YEAC President, succeeding Oknha Pech Bolen. Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia and President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, delivered congratulatory remarks during the program. YEGAP Chairman Mr. Aoki likewise reaffirmed YEGAP’s continued support for YEAC and its leadership.

The delegation also joined a series of factory visits organized by YEAC, providing insights into Cambodia’s local industries and opportunities to engage directly with entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The visit concluded with the YEGAP 22 Years Commemorative Dinner hosted by Mr. Aoki at Sombok Restaurant. The gathering marked more than two decades since YEGAP’s establishment in Phnom Penh in 2004 and brought together YEGAP delegates and YEAC leaders to celebrate the longstanding partnership and reaffirm their shared commitment to regional cooperation and youth entrepreneurship development.
