YEGAP and the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Timor-Leste (ANJET) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in youth entrepreneurship and regional networking across the Asia-Pacific.
The signing took place during the Asia-Pacific Business Forum held in Dili on 26 May 2026, co-organized with the CACCI, bringing together entrepreneurs and partners from across the region to support private sector growth in Timor-Leste.
The MoU aims to deepen collaboration through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and stronger links between young entrepreneurs in Timor-Leste and their peers across the Asia-Pacific.
During the signing ceremony, Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão highlighted the importance of youth entrepreneurship in driving economic development and regional integration.
YEGAP Chair Hiromi Aoki said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a more connected Asia-Pacific, where young entrepreneurs can grow through trust, collaboration, and opportunity.
